On April 28, 2026, the spirit of compassion, service, and hope was once again demonstrated through a meaningful outreach initiative held at the Camiling Municipal Jail. The activity was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Project CRIS, EMCEE RON TFBC Tarlac, the 2nd PMFC Tarlac PPO, and with the support of the Altruism Eagles Club.
The outreach activity was spearheaded by Dr. Ma. Cristina R. Quitalig together with Pastor Joshua Paul Santos and PLT Marites T. Padilla, reflecting a united commitment to humanitarian service, spiritual enrichment, and community solidarity.
Bringing Hope Through Faith and Fellowship
The program opened with a heartfelt Bible study session led by Pastor Joshua Paul Santos. The gathering created an atmosphere of reflection, encouragement, and spiritual renewal for the persons deprived of liberty (PDLs). Through prayers, inspirational messages, and faith-centered discussions, the participants were reminded that hope and transformation remain possible regardless of circumstances.
The Altruism Eagles Club proudly supported this meaningful initiative as part of its continuing mission to extend help and encouragement to communities in need. The Club believes that genuine service goes beyond material assistance—it also includes uplifting the human spirit and promoting dignity, compassion, and understanding.
Distribution of Hygiene Kits and Food Packs
Following the spiritual session, hygiene kits and food packs were distributed to the PDLs. These donations were intended to support their daily needs and contribute to their health and well-being while inside the facility.
The outreach highlighted the importance of collective action and how organizations working together can create a positive impact, even in challenging environments. Through the generosity of various partners and supporters, the event became a reminder that kindness and concern for others can inspire hope and strengthen communities.
A Moment of Joy Through the Raffle Draw
To conclude the event, a raffle draw was conducted, bringing excitement and smiles to the participants. A total of ₱4,000 in cash prizes was awarded to selected winners, adding joy and encouragement to the day’s activities.
Simple moments such as these help create a sense of connection and remind everyone present that they are not forgotten by society.
Continuing the Mission of Service
The Altruism Eagles Club remains committed to supporting outreach programs and humanitarian activities within the limits of the Club’s capacity. By partnering with organizations, community leaders, law enforcement agencies, and faith-based groups, the Club continues to seek opportunities to extend meaningful service to those who need it most.
This outreach activity stands as a testament to the power of unity, compassion, and volunteerism. Together, we continue to prove that even small acts of kindness can leave a lasting impact and help build a more caring and hopeful community.
